The Disney Dream Is A Cruise Ship

Im not sure why but cruise holidays have seen a surge in popularity in recent years and as a result cruises as their first choice option for their next holiday, its has slowly been drifting away from the stereotypical cruise market and companies like Disney have been reinforcing this by running their own cruise line since 1999. The first Disney cruise liner to be launch was names the Magic in 1998 not long after the Disney Wonder was launched in 1999 and Disney ran family cruises where the kids were surrounded by the Disney world and the parents could turn off and relax knowing their children were being looked after by professionals.

In 2007 Disney ordered two more ships to add to its fleet, the first of these new ships made its maiden voyage in January of 2011, at 340 meters long and comprising of 16 decks the ship can accommodate 4000 guests as well as 1500 crew members. The Disney Dream features the usual mod cons that you would expect to find on a luxury cruise ship such as a theatre and cinema, health and fitness facilities such as swimming pools, a spa and a gym, along with a shopping mall, nine bars and a night club, what sets the Disney Dream apart is its amazing atrium spanning 3 decks and the worlds first water coaster at sea called the AquaDuck.

The Disney Dream offers a completely new and exciting experience when it comes to cruises and is aimed at a niche in the market, although it offers luxury cruises and something completely different to what other luxury brands such as Crystal Cruises which offer a cruise experience aimed at the more traditional cruise clientele. Without a question the Disney Dream wont be a cruise ship to every ones taste and the cruises on offer are perhaps not ideal for the traditional cruise market but for their targeted audience, which is families with young children, they offer something entirely unique

The Disney Dream cruise ship drinking age.?

I'm 20 years old and i already know the drinking age is 21 on the Disney Dream. How easy would it be for my older brother who is 24 to buy me alcoholic drinks at the bars? What is the possibility of me being caught? And I'm going to castaway cay in the bahamas, would i be able to drink there? Any suggestions please let me know, thanks.

Well . . based on the posters here . . they have strict guidelines, but you could skirt them easily. . . .I think the important thing is to not go nuts and be a screw up . . that way, you'll be overlooked more. Twenty is very close to 21 . . maybe grow some facial hair . . . or plan on dressing . . a bit more mature than your age . . it might help belie your baby face

How to Land Disney Channel Auditions for Free (Associated content)

For many kids, the dream of working on a Disney Channel show or movie may seem
like a fantasy too good to ever come true. But the reality is that if someone
is determined enough and willing to work hard, anything is possible, even
acting on a Disney show.
