I have had some trouble with a Leapster handheld product in the past, and I just wanted to pass on that LeapFrog was extremely helpful on the phone. The phone number to call LeapFrog is on the back of the Leapster on the battery door. I assure you that they will do all they can to help (they even replaced my LMax when the screen wasn't working properly).. Good luck.
